This week I had the pleasure to speak at the Associations World Congress in super sustainable Gothenburg. Gothenburg has been the leader of the Global Destination Sustainability Index for the last three years. As such it was a pleasure to deliver this presentation with Katarina Torstensson, who is the Director of Sustainability for Goteborg & CO – the DMO.
It was great to see so many associations executives in our session. Frequently Associations have been behind the curve when it comes to sustainable events. But just like with other areas and sectors in 2019 we are seeing an increased response.
