These certifications ensure that events adhere to rigorous sustainability standards, covering aspects such as energy use, waste management, and resource efficiency. • Sustainable venues and hotels: The city offers a range of sustainable venues and hotels that are committed to environmental best practices. They incorporate energy-efficient technologies, utilize renewable energy sources, and implement comprehensive waste reduction and recycling programs. • Eco-friendly transportation: Oslo promotes the use of sustainable transportation options for event attendees. The city's efficient public transport network, extensive bike-sharing programs, and electric vehicle infrastructure make it easy for participants to travel green. Organizers are encouraged to provide information on public transport routes and bike paths.
