In this Feeling the Pulse session we will present the new 2022 sustainability criteria for destinations, and key tips on how to fill out your assessment successfully. It will take place from 10:00-11:30 CEST.

Guest Destination 1 : Thomas Deschamps, Director of Paris Tourism Research Department, Sustainable & Accessible Tourism, Paris Convention and Visitors Bureau explains Paris's sustainable tourism programme which supports its members' ecological transition through sharing, showcasing, and shifting mindsets.

Guest Destination 2: Pat Satkhum, CEM, CIS, SEPC, Senior Manager, Sustainable Development Section, Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), explores the Carbon Footprint reduction project. After almost a decade with the challenge of introducing carbon footprint calculation and carbon neutral events to the business events industry, Thailand stepped back by introducing a 'Carbon Reduction Calculator' to call for the greater action. Pat explains why stepping back doesn’t always mean moving backward.
