Alejandra is a pioneer in sustainable events in Latin America, specialising in the sustainability to regeneration transition. With 20+ years in tourism, she has worked with major hotel chains like Hilton and JW Marriott, and DMC agencies in Cancun and Los Cabos.

As Director of Evensus, she has trained over 500 professionals in the first Spanish Sustainable Events Certificate Course (CES) since 2017. The first Latina in the Global Destination Sustainability Movement, she aids DMOs and convention bureaux with sustainability strategies.

Alejandra holds a master’s in Sustainable Tourism from UCI Costa Rica and is certified by the Events Industry Council.
