Alicia, a GDS-Movement consultant, has extensive experience in sustainable tourism.

In the West Midlands, she drove Green Tourism accreditation and led regional submissions to the GDS-Index for nearly three years, including Visit Birmingham, finishing as Sustainability Lead at West Midlands Growth Company.

She contributed to STEAM, a tourism economic impact model, and spearheaded efforts to reduce emissions through the Net Zero Working Group.

Alicia’s background includes leading visitor attraction projects for the WMGC’s Business and Tourism Programme, including the management of regional visitor information points (2022 Commonwealth Games), developing ITC Travel’s tourism products, and consulting to Solimar International.
