Guy Bigwood, FIEMA

Guy is a recognised expert and visionary on creating sustainable destinations through multi stakeholder collaboration and co-creation. In 2015 Guy launched the Global Destinations Sustainability Index to accelerate the development and performance of sustainable business tourism destinations. From 2006 to 2018, Guy was the Sustainability Director of MCI, the world’s largest association management, communications and events agency. He launched a CSR programme across the corporation’s 60 offices, developing a business strategy that positioned MCI to be an award winning sustainability champion, and the organiser of over 1000 events about sustainable development, Smart Cities and energy. Guy is a passionate and outstanding communicator, who has delivered over 440 keynote presentations and facilitated workshops engaging over 40,000 participants in more than 40 countries. He teaches Regenerative Leadership at Esade Business School, and is a visiting lecturer at various universities around the world.
Inge Krogh Larsen

Inge fuels her mission with wisdom acquired by working in Danish business and leisure tourism for 11 years. During her time with VisitAalborg and Inspiring Denmark she naturally migrated towards sustainability. This journey was further nurtured by her employers’ participation in the GDS-Index. With a renewed and enlivened career focus on people and planet, Inge went freelance. For the last 2,5 years she supported SMEs and destinations with sustainability certification. This is a boon she brings to GDS-Movement and the GDS-Index in particular. Having been through the benchmarking process herself, Inge knows first-hand what destinations experience in their progressive journey towards greater regenerative destination management, and how to help them get there.
Melissa Baird

Melissa is a communications specialist whose career has spanned publishing, advertising, brand, and marketing development. She has worked with global NGOs, local government, major brands and was head of strategy at specialised advertising agency Ogilvy Earth. She has worked with the GDS-Index since 2015, and is GDS-Movement's Chief Storyteller and Course Faculty Lead for the GDS-Academy Storytelling and Communication Strategies for Regeneration.
