The Challenge
VisitBritain wanted a structured and robust system to measure and increase the value that Business Events bring to UK communities.
The Solution
The GDS-Movement and #Meet4impact designed an impact framework and training to bolster VisitBritain’s implementation of impact and legacy within UK events and meetings.
- Developed and implemented a masterclass with 5 workshops to engage and train +50 convention bureaux, event organisers and convention center leaders on impact strategy and measurement
- Workshop with 100+ association clients and suppliers to review and improve framework
- Documented and promoted project through video series, enhancing VisitBritain’s visibility in the industry and solidifying their leadership position in Europe in terms of legacy initiatives.
- Development of measurement framework, KPIs, and implementation guidance (release expected September 2024)
